Position Type: Full-time, 0.6-1.0 FTE
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 30-40 students, primarily in preschool and elementary settings, with occasional requests from middle and high schools.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in special education.
Participate in the Tiered Intervention initiative, supporting pre-referral interventions in general education classrooms.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy from an AOTA-approved program.
Washington State ESA certification.
Washington State OT license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with special education law (IDEIA 2004).
Proficiency in technology for documentation, paperwork, and assistive technology implementation.
Ability to adapt environments, tasks, and provide adaptive equipment.
Proficiency in evaluation tools and intervention methods.
Experience with data management systems for student progress monitoring.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Flexibility, innovation, and effective time management.
Commitment to professional growth and teamwork.
